First of all, it is a very safe and secure facility to conduct business. Next, most importantly, Jeff Garrett, is extremely fair. He’s quite knowledgeable and a leader in his field. I recommend Mid-American with 100 percent approval.

David O., Lexington, Kentucky

After my grandfather passed away, my family and I contacted Mid-American about an appraisal of his coins, which we knew very little about. The staff and MR. Garrett were friendly on the phone (gave great, easy-to-follow directions) and we were able to get an appointment quickly. Mr. Garrett was generous with his time and accommodated us as we were traveling from out-of-town. We never felt pressured, he explained the appraisal and answered all our questions.

Jacob Y., Pineville, Kentucky

I have sold two collections to Mid-American. In both cases, they have been very professional, friendly and courteous. They explained how and why each coin was valued and answered all questions. If you want to buy or sell coins, I highly recommend Jeff Garrett and Mid-American Rare Coin Galleries.

Nick K., Lexington, Kentucky

My experience with Jeff Garrett was excellent. I needed a coin collection appraised so I could settle my mother’s estate. The collection was extensive and he reviewed the items in an expedient time frame. He explained his offer to purchase and his rationale and I accepted his offer.
