Shipping Your Material

If we do not have an affiliate in your area it may be necessary to ship your material to our office for the highest offer possible. This is actually very easy and we will give you clear instructions to ship you holdings to us safe and fully insured. If we do not purchase your rare coin holdings we will ship the material back to you at no charge. This rarely happens, but you can rest assured that you will be fully protected when shipping your material to us. Our team of experts will give you step by step instructions. The two most commonly used methods of shipping are as follows:

Option 1— United States Postal Service

Registered Mail ranks as the safest method for shipping material. Packages are carefully tracked and losses are nearly unheard of. The United States Postal Service will insure packages for up to $25,000. Our private insurance will provide additional coverage up to $100,000 per shipment. Registered mail packages must be wrapped carefully with all corners of the box covered with paper tape (see accompanying illustration). Also be sure that all contents are tightly packed and nothing rattles inside the box. Shipping materials can be purchased at most box and shipping stores found in nearly every community. Fedex-Kinkos also carries shipping supplies.

Registered Mail box

Option 2— Fed Ex

Offers Overnight Shipping. Shipping by Fedex is probably the easiest method of shipping. Fedex will supply boxes and shipping labels for no charge. Our private insurance covers inbound packages for up to $50,000 each. There is no need to purchase the insurance from Fedex. The material must be ship in a box that is carefully wrapped and then placed into a larger Fedex box for shipping. We recommend clear tape on both ends of the boxes to prevent tampering (see illustration). If you choose Fedex we will give you additional shipping tips to make the process as easy as possible for you get the highest prices for your material.
